Large Butterfly Necklace in Titanium & Sterling Silver with 24ct Gold

Carefully crafted in Titanium, it has been heated treated to bring out the unusual blues and gold colouring of the wings. Finished with 24ct Gold plated detailing and belcher style chain which includes a 1 inch extension chain. 

About Titanium 
Titanium is as strong as steel but significantly lighter, making it an excellent material for jewellery that is designed to remain beautiful for a lifetime. It is highly resistant to sunlight, salt water, chlorine, corrosion and deformation, making it exceptionally durable and low-maintenance. Naturally, titanium has a light grey appearance similar to silver. However, using the anodising technique, titanium can be transformed into beautiful colours by creating a thin oxide layer on its surface that reflects light in different shades.
