Maligano Jasper, a distinctive brecciated Jasper variety, made its debut in the gemstone world around 2011, following its discovery in Indonesia.

Derived from a small village nestled on the picturesque island of Sulawesi, this gemstone owes its name to its humble origins. Its formation unfolds amidst ancient volcanic hot spring areas, lending it a fascinating narrative deeply intertwined with the Earth’s geological history.

Renowned for its captivating array of colours, Maligano Jasper boasts hues ranging from vivid blues and fiery reds to warm oranges, radiant yellows, subtle greys, and soft beiges. Within its intricate patterns lie veins of greyish-silver Agate, delicately filling the cavities and adding to its visual allure. However, accessing the mining depot of Maligano Jasper proves to be a challenging feat due to its remote location, resulting in a limited supply and elevating its desirability and market value.
