Dendritic Agate is a type of chalcedony, a form of quartz, that contains fern-like inclusions called dendrites. 
Agate forms when silica-rich water seeps into rock cavities, gradually depositing layers of silica, creating the characteristic banded patterns. 
This process can take millions of years, with the dendritic patterns being created by inclusions of iron oxide or manganese during the crystallization process. 

Dendritic Agate is found in India, Madagascar, Brazil, Russia, and the United States.
