Crafted in 925 Sterling Silver, these sweet fish earrings are shaped to represent the symbol of Christianity. Finished with silver stem posts and butterfly backs for secure wearing.
The Ichthus symbol in Greek letters spells out 'Jesus Christ, God's Son and Saviour. ' The word is also a monogram , as Ichthus is the Greek word for 'fish'. In the early history when Christians were being persecuted, they would use the fish symbol as a secret sign symbolising to others that they were Christians.
