Eye Agate is not a specific type of agate, but rather a characteristic banding pattern found in various agate varieties. These patterns, formed by the gradual accumulation of silica minerals in concentric layers, create the illusion of eyes when cut and polished. The "eyes" themselves can range in size and color, from tiny specks of chalcedony to large, mesmerizing orbs of vibrant hues.

This pattern of concentric circles resembling eyes can occur in many types of agate, including Botswana Agate, Crazy Lace Agate, Botswana Agate, and Ocean Agate, to name a few.
