This beautiful gemstone is a Natural Tibetan Turquoise from the Himalayas. 

Tibetan Turquoise is a rare luxury that is mined in the Himalayas – ours specifically is from the area around Lhasa in the Himalayan area. 

It tends to be blue-green in colour and is sought after for this fact as most Turquoise found elsewhere leans more towards the blues. This particular piece leans more towards gold hues and green colours.

It is believed that Tibetan Turquoise will bring happiness and good fortune to its owner if it was given by a loving hand, it is sympathetic not only to the wearer's health but also to the giver. It is believed that Turquoise will become paler in colour if he or she is threatened by evil.
